Kanopy is a service providing streaming videos for educational purposes. Major subjects covered include: the arts, business and training, health sciences, media and communication, natural sciences, social sciences, and teacher education. Users can search, browse and see previews of videos.

All Tufts University account owners (instructors / staff / students) can access the Tufts Libraries Kanopy video collection and post a link to a Kanopy video on a Canvas course site.

Go to any of the Tufts University Libraries and search for the Kanopy video Database

Note: You will need to log into the Tufts Libraries to access the Kanopy video database.

Once on the Kanopy site, search for a video.

A video search results panel will be displayed.

To preview a video, click on the video name

This displays the video in preview mode.
