How do I make my course site Syllabus open to the public?
Once you have posted your course site syllabus (See: How do I post a course Syllabus?), the syllabus, by default, is available to the all users with an account on the course site (assuming the course site is Published.
Instructors can also make the syllabus available to the public or available to anyone with a Tufts University account.
To edit availability of the course syllabus:
Go to the site and click Settings
Under the Course Details tab / Visibility, checkmark "Customize" and select either Institution or Public from the dropdown box
Institution = Any Tufts University account holder will be able to access the course site syllabus with a link to the Syllabus tool page
Public = Any person will be able to access the course site syllabus with a link to the Syllabus tool page
Click Update Course Details
Go to course site and click Syllabus
Copy the URL address from the browser address box
If you set the "Customize" to Institution, any Tufts University account holder will be able to access the course site syllabus with this link.
If you set the "Customize" to Public, any person will be able to access the course site syllabus with this link.
