How to use DUO in the Anatomy Lab iPads

This information is only for students in the Boston campus Anatomy Lab. If you are enrolled in an anatomy course and have issues with this process, please email [email protected].

Personal devices like cell phones are not allowed in the anatomy lab. To access canvas on the anatomy lab iPads you must use DUO authentication, which typically requires a personal device. Students in Anatomy courses have been granted the ability to generate codes that they can write down and then bring into the lab.

Generate codes before entering the lab

When you access any DUO enabled serves, such as canvas.tufts.edu you will be presented with the Tufts DUO login screen. Choose the enter passcode button.

Then you can choose the Text me new codes. This will send you 10 one-time-use codes you can use in the lab. Please write down these codes so you can bring them into the lab.

Use the codes on the iPads in the lab

When attempting to log onto canvas or other tufts duo-protected services while in the lab you can enter the codes by clicking "enter passcode" and then entering the passcode you noted earlier.
