Namecoach is a tool for recording/sharing accurate audio name pronunciations with others in your Canvas course.

It can be found in your course navigation (if it is not visible, an instructor in the course must enable it).

Click on 'Record Name' to begin recording process. If you are in multiple courses, you only need to record your name once, and it will be shared across all of your courses.

Note that after recording, the 'Record Name' button label changes to ‘Edit your info’ in case you wish to re-record in the future.

The Web Recorder is the easiest recording method. Click 'Record' and follow instructions. You will need to grant access to your microphone. Click 'Submit and Finish' when you are done.

If you prefer, you can use the Uploader method instead. Click 'Browse for file' and follow instructions. You will need to know where your audio file is stored. Click 'Submit and Finish' when you are done.

Another option is the Phone method. Input your number and click 'Call me now' and follow instructions. You will need to have your phone nearby. Click 'Submit and Finish' when you are done.
