How do I install Kaltura Capture on a Mac?
NOTE: Kaltura Capture software versions that start with "3._" are outdated. If you have a version that starts with "3._", we recommend that you uninstall it, and re-install a current version. Once you have the current version installed, it will auto-update in the future. Click here for installation instructions for Mac or PC.
NOTE: Users of Macs running MacOS 10.15 Catalina may get an error message which says: "KalturaCapture can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software."
If you get this error message, you can launch Kaltura Capture with this workaround:
- On your Mac go to the Applications folder, right click on the Kaltura Capture application icon and click "Open".
- A button will appear on the pop-up asking if you want to run the application anyway. Click this.
- Once you have launched the application this way, the error message will no longer show.
