How do I import existing padlets into my Tufts Padlet account?
If you already had a Padlet account prior to Tufts supporting the platform, you may want to import content from your non-Tufts Padlet account. This will transfer the original padlet but will NOT transfer over any comments or contributions not created by you.
NOTE: When you created a Tufts Padlet account at tufts.padlet.org, it created you a whole separate account.
Even if you used your Tufts email for your "basic" account, they will be seen by Padlet as two separate accounts.

To Import content head to tufts.padlet.org
Click "..." in the bottom left corner of the dashboard
Click Import
Click Sign in to padlet.com
Sign in to Padlet with the original email and password you created.
NOTE: This may be your tufts email address
If you are already logged in on your web browser to padlet.com it may direct you right to the padlet.com Dashboard.
DO: Head back to tufts.padlet.org and refollow the steps above and reselect import. It should direct you to the step below after.
Confirm that the account connected is the account you want to import from
Select the padlets you want to import and Click Import (x number) padlet(s)
Using the box to the right of the padlet, select the padlets you want to import.
Only padlets marked with a blue check mark will be imported.
With your Tufts license of Padlet you will have access to create and import an unlimited amount padlets.
After you import your padlets you will receive a confirmation
You can either click Take me to my padlets or find your padlets on your dashboard at tufts.padlet.org.
Your imported padlets will now be selectable within your canvas assignments as well.
