How do I view Qualtrics survey results and reports?

In Qualtrics, survey results can be seen in a results overview, or in more detailed reports with data visualizations.

To see survey results click "Results" in the dashboard for the survey

You will see each question with its survey results in numerical or other form, depending on the question type.

To see survey reports click "Reports" in the dashboard for the survey

Qualtrics will compile the results and present them as a PDF which you can download.

The default report includes common visualizations of collected data. To edit these, click the gear icon in the dashboard. This will give you access to the visualization and other settings for that report, which are all configurable.

To edit or filter the text and formatting of a particular set of results, click on the box which contains them. A sidebar will appear to the right with many configurable options.

Qualtrics offers robust reporting and visualization options.

Note: A survey-taker's data only appears in that survey's report when they have fully completed and submitted the survey. If a student doesn't complete all the survey questions their data will be marked as a "partial response" and will not be reflected in reports. This may impact the way you set up your survey, especially if you expect to use it during class as a classroom response tool.
