How do I reset a student submission in Bongo?

In Bongo students can typically only submit an assignment once. However you can "reset" a student's submission, giving them another chance to submit the assignment. Reasons you may need to do this include:

- If you previewed the Bongo assignment with the Canvas "test" student, and then had to make changes to the Bongo assignment, you will need to reset the Canvas "test" student before editing the assignment details.

- If some students have already made submissions and you need to change certain details of the assignment, you may need to "reset" those students, make the assignment changes, then have the students submit the assignment again.

- A student may have a valid reason they need to re-submit the assignment.

In Canvas go to Assignments in the course and click the title of the assignment

Click the grey "Load..." button to open Bongo in a new tab in the browser

You will see the Bongo assignment overview

In the "Learners" column, find and click on the student's name you would like to reset.

Click the "Reset Submission" button

Resetting the student's submission will remove their name from the instructor overview page.

For Individual and Group Projects the student will see the project has been set back to the "Ready to Submit" stage.

NOTE: Upon reset the student's previously uploaded video, documents, and links will not be deleted. After the reset they can re-submit this content or upload and submit different content when ready.

For interactive video assignments a reset will remove the student's grade and they can resubmit.
