Introduction to Verity for Instructors

The Verity proctoring tool, made by the company YuJa, is integrated with Canvas and can be included in a Canvas classic quiz.

When activated Verity can be used to allow proctors to observe students while they take an exam online, and to restrict some functionality of a student's computer while they take an exam either online or in the classroom.

NOTE: We are piloting the Verity proctoring tools during the Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 semesters. The pilot can accommodate a limited number of courses and students. If you are interested in participating, please email [email protected].
