How do I register for a Verity live proctored exam as a student?
If your instructor has arranged for your Canvas exam to be live-proctored with Verity, you must register for the exam session one or more days before the actual time of the exam. The guide or video below show you how.

Log into Canvas in Chrome as usual, go to the course, and click "YuJa Verity" to go to the Verity page
This "re-authenticates" you in Verity. You will see a confirmation that the authentication steps have been completed
NOTE: If you have not yet authenticated in Verity first follow the steps in this guide:

On the Verity page in the Canvas course, click "Live Proctoring"
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you don't see the "Live Proctoring" option on the Verity page click the "Yuja Verity" item in the left-side menu a second time, and, if need be, refresh the tab in the browser.
If you still don't see the "Live Proctoring" option, check with your instructor to insure they have set up the live-proctoring session.
Click to choose from the list of available time slots (there may be only one). Then click "Apply and Proceed".
NOTE: if you are registering close to the exam start time you'll see a warning — "This session is about to begin" — prompting you to finish registering ASAP.
Review your time slot selection and click "Back" to change it, or "Exit" to complete your registration
NOTE: On the actual day and time of your test you'll return to the course in Canvas and go to the "YuJa Verity" page to confirm authentication, then go to the "Quizzes" or "Modules" page in Canvas to access the Verity-proctored quiz.
