How do I apply a previously saved settings profile to a Verity quiz?

When you are in the process of adding Verity settings to a quiz in Canvas, you can retrieve settings from a previously saved Verity "profile". The instructions below show you how —

How do I add Verity proctoring to a Quiz in Canvas?

Once you are in the Verity Options window in the quiz in Canvas, click "Select Profile"

Choose from one of three tabs: "Institution Profiles", "Course Profiles", or "For Myself"

  1. Institution Profiles - are created and saved by Tufts educational technology services staff. They contain recommended settings for certain types of exams.
  2. Course Profiles - are created by you to apply to all the YuJa Verity proctored exams in your course
  3. For Myself Profiles - are created by you as individual profiles to apply when needed

Scroll through the list of available profiles and click to choose one. Then click "Select".

A message will indicate your Verity settings have been applied to the exam

IMPORTANT FINAL STEP: Scroll to the bottom of the Quiz details page in Canvas and click "Save"

NOTE: Although the Verity settings have been "applied" you must also click "Save" at the bottom of the Quiz details page in Canvas to save them.
