How do I take a Canvas exam with the Verity Lockdown browser app?

The Verity Lockdown app is a browser. It can run on a Mac or PC, and is designed to stay in a Canvas quiz while an exam is in session.

If your instructor has set up your Canvas quiz to be used with the Verity Lockdown browser, follow the steps in the guide or video below to install, launch, and use it to take the exam.

NOTE: taking an exam with Verity proctoring may include making a recording of your webcam, audio, and screen for the duration of the exam, as well as recording other exam-related events on your computer. These recordings and data will be available for review by your instructor after the exam. They may also be reviewed by Tufts or YuJa admin if there are technical or other issues.
