Logging in and switching roles

Administrators, student AV assistants, and Schedulers will often have more than one role in Echo360. You will have to switch between these roles frequently. For instance, you will view captures of your own classes in the Student role, but you will switch to an Administrator role to schedule, edit, and publish captures.

Log in to Echo360

Enter your Tufts email address.

Click SUBMIT and log in with your Tufts username and password.

  • The login process may show a blank screen for up to five seconds.
  • If you are already logged into another Tufts system via Single Sign-On, Echo360 may bypass the blue Tufts login screen and send you directly to your Dashboard or class list.

Click on the person icon in the upper-right corner of the menu bar

A pop-up will appear with your name and current role.

Click "Change Role"

If you recently accessed Echo360 via Canvas, you will not be able to change your role from Student/Instructor to Administrator. Click the "logout" link and go to echo360.org to log in with your Tufts email address.
