How to Modify Visual Settings

NOTE: Some questions were negatively affected by the June 2023 visual update. Some older questions were created with white text color. This is a problem because the new visual update has a white background and therefore the text is not visible. At this time there is no way to change the text color for all of these questions. If you are experiencing this issue you will need to follow these steps on all your affected questions.

Open a question you would like to change the visual settings

  1. go to polleverywhere.com and log in with your Tufts email, username, and password
  2. click on the activities button on the left
  3. Open a question by clicking on the name

Open the visual settings

Choose Options

Open and Set the Color Scheme

If your title/stem of your question is not visible the Primary text color needs to be set.

The Primary text color controls most of the text on the screen.  The Secondary text color controls many of the response graphics (like the bars in the bar chart). The Primary background color changes the background behind the questions and responses. The Secondary background color sets the border around the slide.
