What do I need to know about the Blue upgrade as a Blue project manager?
Current Status:
All systems are go and the vendor is ready to begin on Monday morning. All forms will be paused and projects expired prior to the upgrade. Once the system has been taken down, the 'out of order' message will include the [email protected] email address for end user questions.
After the system returns, we will verify and restart/extend projects and forms. Please do not attempt to access the system until you receive the go-ahead. All updates will be posted here.
General Information:
The Blue course evaluation system will be unavailable during a major upgrade the week of July 13th-17th.
Typically, a Blue upgrade involves a day or two of downtime, but this is a major upgrade, and therefore, the vendor has requested five days.
Please plan ahead as far as reporting prior to the upgrade, so that the week of downtime does not disrupt your work schedule.
When the system returns after the upgrade, it will have a new home and a new look, but you will still be able to access Blue via the Course Evaluations link on the left side navigation of any Canvas course. The current URL of https://tufts.bluera.com/tufts will no longer be active. We will provide the new URLs when they are ready.
While most of the changes will occur behind the scenes, you will notice that there will be different URLs for end users vs project managers, and you will also be gaining the ability to download reports in bulk. We will post more information here as we go along and a link for your end users will be added to your email notifications. Please stay tuned.
