How do I display a Letter Grade in the Total Grade Column?
By default, Canvas displays the Total grade in the instructor's gradebook and in the individual student's grade view as a percentage.

To display the Total Grade as a letter Grade, go to Settings

Make sure the Course Details page is displayed

Checkmark "Enable course grading scheme"

Note: You can view and edit the letter grading scheme by clicking on the "Set Grading Scheme" link.
Click "Update Course Details"

This will display the Total Grade as both a percentage and a Letter Grade (based on the grading scheme)

Note: Instructors cannot upload final grades from Canvas. Instructors are required to log into SIS (Student Informations System) and post final grades there.
