How do I upload a video to My Media in Canvas?

All Tufts users can access the Canvas My Media tool and upload and store course-related video files there.

NOTE: When you upload a video to My Media in Canvas, you are the only person who can view it. If, however, you share the video the the Media Gallery of any given Canvas site, course participants will be able to view it.

Video recordings of prior class sessions in which students, guest lecturers, or others appear should not be shared without their express permission.

Once you've uploaded a video to the My Media tool in your Canvas account (i.e. the private section of your account), It is possible to edit it to remove footage of students and others. For help with this please reach out to [email protected].
