How do I publish a video from My Media to a course site's Media Gallery?
All Tufts University account holders can publish a video from their My Media to a Canvas course site Media Gallery.
If the video is published to the Media Gallery by an Instructor, TA or Course Designer, all users with an account on the site can view the video.
If the video is published to the Media Gallery by a student, a note to that effect will be displayed under a "Pending" button in the instructor's view of the Media Gallery. The instructor must approve the video before other students can view it.
Click Media Gallery
This displays the course site's Media Gallery tool.
Click Add Media
This displays the Add Media page. All of the media files that you have uploaded to your My Media are listed there.
Checkmark the My Media video you want to publish to your Media Gallery, then click Publish
This adds the video to your Media Gallery. Students can then click on the Media Galley tool and then click on the video thumbnail to view the video.
