How do I change the ownership of a My Media video?
Owners of My Media videos can change the ownership of a video. Changing ownership places the video in the My Media of the new owner (along with all video management and downloading permissions) and removes the video from the original owner's My Media.
Log into Canvas and click My Media in left navigation panel
This displays all of the owners videos
To the right of the video you want to change ownership click the Edit icon (pencil)
This displays the editing page for the video
Click Collaboration
This displays the collaboration page
Click Change Media Owner
This displays a Change Media Owner popup panel.
Type in the first few letters of the new owners name then select the new owner from the list
Click Save
This removes the video from your My Media and places it in the My Media of the new owner.
