How do I embed a webcam video in a Canvas text box?
The Upload/Record Media tool in the Rich Content Editor does not support captions for accessibility. If possible, we recommend using My Media/Media Gallery to record and upload video, which will be automatically captioned in accordance with the Tufts captioning policy.
Instructors, TAs and Designers can embed a webcam video in any Canvas text box.
Goto the Canvas text box and click on the Record/Upload Media icon (looks like a go button), and select Upload Record Media

This displays the Upload Media panel
Click the Record tab

This displays your computer's webcam
When ready to record, click Start Recording

When done recording click Finish

Note: you can also click "Start Over"
Preview by clicking on the Go Arrow and when ready, click Save (or Start Over).

This embeds the webcam video in the text box. Click Save or Save and Publish

Note: it make take some time for the video to process before it is displayed in the text box.
