How do I create a Playlist of Videos in the Media Gallery tool?
Instructors, TAs and Course Designers can create a Playlist of videos (videos grouped together that can be played in a sequence) and make that playlist available for students to view in the Media Gallery tool.
First, Upload the videos to your My Media space
Second, Publish the videos to your Canvas site's Media Gallery
In the Media Gallery, click the settings icon and + Create channel playlist
Title playlist and click Create
Title the playlist and add any desired description or tags to the video. Then click create.
Add videos to playlist and determine order
1. Using the drop down select which library you will choose your videos from: My Media or Media Gallery
2. Add the videos you would like by selecting the plus icon.
3. Using the 2 lines to the right of the videos in the Playlist column, click and drag to reorder.
4. Click Go to Media Gallery in the top right of the screen to save your playlist. The filled in circle with a check indicates that the video is added to the playlist.
