How do I embed an image in a Piazza post?

All users can embed images in a Piazza post.  There are 2 methods for embedding an image.

  • Method 1: Use the image's URL
  • Method 2: Upload and embed the image

Go to Piazza.

Go to the Piazza Text Editor (Either by clicking "New Post" or clicking "Edit" on an existing post).

This displays the Piazza Text Editor.

Method 1: (Use the image's URL) - Click on the Insert/Edit Image icon.

This displays the Edit Image dialogue box.

Enter the image URL in the Source box, then click OK.

This embeds the image in the Piazza Text Editor.

Click on the image to reveal the sizing handles, resize image size as desired, then click Post.

Method 2: (Upload and embed the image) - Click on the Insert/Edit Image icon.

This displays the Edit Image dialogue box.

Click on the File icon.

Click on the File icon.

This displays the My File Manager dialogue box.

Click Upload a new file. Locate the image file on your computer and click Open

This uploads the image file to Piazza and adds a link to that uploaded file in the Edit Image box.

Click OK

The image is now embedded in the Piazza Text box.
